Day 11 of the 15/15 Writing Yoga Challenge

“In ordinary life, we hardly realize that we receive a great deal more than we give, and that it is only with gratitude that life becomes rich.” — Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Each time I step on my mat, I find myself grateful for my body’s ability to sustain me–to balance on one leg, to bend and twist and grow into a new version of myself–and that sense of gratitude extends beyond my mat to the life that I live–to the people who make my life so rich with wonder and love, to the world itself filled with such beauty, to the mystery of the universe. How has your practice inspired you to feel gratitude? Write: 15 minutes

  1. Ever since I started getting on my mat doing yoga, It’s been a searching-for- true-myself-journey. I sit on the mat, meditate and meditate. And I truly feel grateful for what yoga has brought on me. I started love myself more like you said, and spread positive vibes to everyone near me. I could have not done it if i don’t meditate everyday.

Thank you for sharing your deep thoughtful writing 🙂

    • Thanks, Jenny, for sharing your experience on the mat and for the kind words about the posts. Every day, it seems, yoga brings us another gift. Gratitude is but one of many, I think. May your practice continue to deepen and bring you joy.
